Description
The Essve Wedge Anchor Golden Anchor M12 is a high-quality through-bolt expander (also known as a wedge anchor) specifically designed for heavy-duty installations in both concrete and natural stone. Thanks to its robust construction, it is the obvious choice when dealing with high load demands. This anchor is manufactured from durable carbon steel (strength class min. 5.8) and is hot-dip galvanized (HDG) to withstand outdoor climates, which corresponds to corrosivity class C3. It features a stainless steel clip that expands inside the drilled hole as the flange nut is tightened, providing maximum and secure grip against the borehole wall. To simplify installation and protect the threads during hammering, the top of the anchor is equipped with a practical impact head – drive the bolt in without worrying about damaging the threads. The nut is also oversized with a 6AZ tolerance.

Step-by-Step Installation
Installing the Essve Golden Anchor is quick and easy, as no advanced blow-cleaning of the hole is required. Follow these simple steps:
- Position & Drill: Place the fixture in its intended position. Drill directly through the fixture down into the concrete. You do not need to blow-clean the hole afterward; a rough cleaning by moving the drill bit up and down a few times is sufficient.
- Drive in the Anchor: Tap the anchor screw carefully into the hole using a hammer on the impact head until you reach the correct installation depth (accommodates fixture thicknesses up to 125 mm).
- Tighten the Nut: Use a torque wrench to tighten the flange nut to the prescribed torque of 55 Nm. As the nut is tightened, the bolt is forced outward, causing the stainless steel clip to expand forcefully against the borehole wall.
