To ensure the bolt meets its high load capacities, correct installation is essential. Follow these simple steps:

• Position the fixture and drill: Place the stud or bracket in position. Drill directly through the fixture into the concrete using a 12 mm concrete drill bit to a depth of at least 100 mm.
• Rough-clean the hole: Move the drill bit up and down a few times in the hole to remove the worst of the drilling dust. No advanced blow-out pump cleaning is required.
• Drive in the expander: Tap the expansion bolt in with a hammer until the flange nut sits flush against the fixture being fastened. The drive head protects the threads from damage.
