Description

Essve Expander Golden Anchor is made of carbon steel with a strength class of min. 5.8. It is hot-dip galvanized, C3, and has a stainless clip. It is a so-called stud screw expander that in its lower part, which is the anchoring part, has a clip that expands up onto the tapered part of the screw when tightened. The upper part is equipped with an external thread with a flange nut. To avoid damage to the screw threads when driving in, the upper part has a knock-in neck. When the drill diameter is equal to the bolt diameter, pressure is created between the hole wall and the clip as soon as the expander is driven into the drill hole. When the flange nut is then tightened, the bolt is forced outwards, forcing the clip to expand up onto the tapered part. The nut is overcut (tolerance 6AZ). Essve Expander Golden Anchor is also available as bright zinc-plated and in stainless steel acid-resistant A4. Essve Golden Anchor is assessed in the Building Product Assessment with Assessment Totally Accepted. Essve Golden Anchor meets the CE requirement through ETA-12/0257. ETA is valid for Golden Anchor FZB and FZV mounted at the deepest insertion depth (hef) for dimensions M8-M16.

Essve Expander Golden Anchor is used for fastening in concrete and natural stone outdoors, especially with high load requirements. It is suitable for fastening wooden/steel joists, facade joists, fittings, z-iron and wrought iron structures.

Assembly

  1. Put the part in place. Drill holes with the same drill diameter as the screw, see min. drilling depth in Load Table. No blowing is required, only rough cleaning with the drill.
  2. Drive the expander screw to the correct installation depth, see min. installation depth in the Load Table.
  3. Tighten the nut to the prescribed tightening torque, see Load Table or Technical Data.
  4. The installation is complete.
