Description

A high-quality, universal current-sensitive Type B residual current circuit breaker (RCCB), specially developed for modern electrical installations where traditional protection is insufficient. With a rated current of 63A and a tripping current of 30mA, it provides comprehensive personal and fire protection in demanding environments. A standard RCCB (Type A) risks becoming completely ineffective ("saturated") if exposed to smooth DC fault currents exceeding 6mA. This means it stops working entirely – even for regular AC faults. The Malmbergs Type B RCCB solves this problem by safely detecting and interrupting all types of fault currents: pure alternating current (AC), pulsating and smooth direct current (DC), as well as mixed frequencies up to 1000 Hz.
