Description

Elma DT5500A is a new insulation tester with a really good resolution that is also a multimeter. The instrument is very robust and equipped with a large and easy-to-read display with a built-in analog bar graph. The multimeter measures AC/DC voltage, resistance and continuity. The insulation tester has optional test voltage: 125, 250, 500 and 1000V and a lockable test function.

Elma DT5500A has automatic discharge of capacitive voltage and automatically warns of dangerous voltage if you try to do an insulation test on an installation that is energized. The instrument has automatic range selection, data hold and min/max measurement. Elma DT5500 is equipped with an integrated rubber protective cover, complies with IEC CAT III 1000V/CAT IV 600V and is delivered complete in a case including test leads, batteries and manual.
