Description

Elma 5800, combines the insulation tester with a true TRMS multimeter. The instrument comes into its own in work where precise measurements are to be combined with troubleshooting. With a safety category of CAT IV 600 V, it can be used in many different applications.

The multimeter is equipped with wireless PC communication and can be used as a ''recorder'' in cases where logging is to be done for a longer period of time. When connected to a PC, you can use the instrument as a data logger and thus get tables and graphs for documentation. On a large illuminated display, all measurements, as well as max/min, can be seen at once.

The instrument is user-friendly and gives you the opportunity for many different measurements. In addition to the usual multimeter functions, also measure Duty Cycle, temperature and 4-20 mA signals shown in percent. With this function, the instrument can also be used in automation systems. The insulation tester can test with up to 1000V and down to 0.001M. The multimeter complies with EN61326 + EN61010-1 CAT IV 600V and can be used in hazardous environments with an IP67 rating. The instrument is supplied in a case including test leads, batteries, type k temperature probe, USB cable and software as well as manual.
