Sam Metal Expander/Gypsum Expander is a steel gypsum anchor with a bottom sleeve with internal threads for screws. When installing Sam Metal Expander, the SAM assembly pliers should be used, see Accessories. When installing, the expander is pulled together and expands in the middle, whereby the four legs are bent backwards. The load-bearing capacity is high because these legs provide a large pressure-distributing surface. The assembly tools ensure that correct expansion is obtained. With Sam Metal Expander you get a permanent, threaded attachment point. It is designed in such a way that it is firmly attached, even if the screw is removed. It is available with metric threaded screw in dim 4, 5 and 6 mm, and is equipped with Philips cross recess Ph2.
