Description

The EKD impact anchor is approved as a fastening in a redundant system for a non-load-bearing application in cracked and non-cracked concrete. Redundant means that several fastenings together carry a load and allow one to fail, but the remaining fastenings must then be able to handle the load. Anchors with a setting depth of at least 30 mm are also approved for load-bearing installation in non-cracked concrete. Impact anchors with a setting depth of 25mm are approved in prestressed hollow core deck elements. The installation must be done with the appropriate tool. Suspending pipe runs, ventilation and other fastenings when threaded rods are desired. The attachment can be easily dismantled without leaving protruding parts.
