Hey'di Building Putty Turbo 15kg
Description
A cement-based, tension-free, fast-hardening putty for indoor use. Used for building cases, repairing damage and general fine filling. Apply in thicknesses from 0-50 mm. Is dust-reduced. Used on substrates of concrete, plaster, tiles and chipboards, etc. before additional floor coverings, tiles, etc. When used on substrates exposed to moisture, the putty should be protected with membranes and tiles or floor coverings. NOTE! Please note that it is the moisture content of the subfloor that determines when a coating can be glued to Hey'di Building Putty Turbo.
Preparation - Substrate: The substrate must be dry, free from loose particles, cement, dust, paint, oil, grease and other contaminants that can reduce adhesion. Cement skin on the surface must be removed mechanically. Absorbent substrates such as concrete and plaster should be primed with Hey’di Primer Golv in the ratio of 1 part Hey’di Primer Golv to 3 parts water, or Hey’di KZ in the same ratio, on chipboard the primer is used undiluted. Smooth, non-absorbent substrates are primed with Hey’di Häft/Gysing - consumption approx. 1.5 kilos per. m², or Hey’di Pro Primer Xtra - consumption approx. 150 gr. per. m².
Mixing: First pour clean water (e.g. water from your own well can affect the mass) into the mixing bucket, 2.7-3 liters of water to 15 kg Hey’di Byggspackel Turbo. Mix with a mechanical whisk. Mixing time approx. 2 minutes to a lump-free homogeneous mass. Pot life is approx. 15-20 minutes, do not add more water once the mass has started to set. During the cold season, the bags should be kept at approximately room temperature before use.
Application: Apply with a putty knife, board, wide putty knife or similar. Can be applied in thick layers without the mass slipping or cracking. Tools are cleaned with water.
Drying time (at +20° C) - Coating: Can be loaded with light foot traffic after approx. 45-60 minutes and can be coated after approx. 2 hours, depending on the temperature of the air and substrate. It is important to remember that it is the moisture content of the subfloor that is decisive.
Consumption: 1.5 kilos of Hey’di Building Putty Turbo /mm/m². Storage: Store dry. Best performance within 9 months from the date of production, unopened packaging.
