GXL consists of a screw and a plug. The plug has a four-part expansion zone. This makes the expansion greater and more friction is achieved, which creates a very good load value. The plug is made of first-class newly produced nylon, with a usage temperature from -40 °C up to +100 °C. The screws are made of steel of strength class 5.8 or stainless steel acid-resistant A4.
