Step-by-step installation instructions

• Positioning and drilling: Place the part to be attached in place. Drill the hole directly through the part. The drill diameter should be exactly the same as the bolt diameter (10 mm). See the applicable load table for the minimum drilling depth.
• Cleaning: Roughly clean the drill hole by running the drill up and down in the hole a few times. No separate cleaning with a pump is required.
• Drive in the expander: Drive in the expander screw to the correct installation depth with a hammer. Strike directly on the impact head to avoid damaging the external threads of the nut or bolt.
• Tightening: Tighten the flange nut to the prescribed tightening torque specified in the technical data table. When the nut is tightened, the bolt is forced outwards and the clip expands permanently against the hole wall.
