How It Works

Because the drill hole diameter is exactly equal to the bolt diameter, mechanical pressure is created between the hole wall and the stainless steel clip as soon as the expander is driven in. When you tighten the flange nut, the bolt is forced outward, causing the clip to expand up onto the tapered section of the bolt, locking the fixture in place with immense force.

Installation Guide – Step by Step

• The great advantage of the Golden Anchor is that installation is fast and requires minimal cleaning.
• Placement and Drilling: Place the fixture (e.g., the stud or bracket) in position. Drill straight through the fixture using a drill bit diameter that matches the screw (10 mm). Refer to the current load table for the minimum drilling depth.
• Rough Cleaning: You do not need to use a blow pump. It is sufficient to perform a rough cleaning by moving the drill bit back and forth in the hole a couple of times.
• Hammering in the Expander: Drive the expander screw in with a hammer to the correct installation depth (see the current load table). The strike head protects the threads from damage during hammering.
• Tightening: Tighten the flange nut to the prescribed tightening torque specified in the technical data/load table. As the nut is tightened, the clip expands, and the installation is Complete!
