Description

Wood screw WAF is made of acid-resistant steel, C5-classified for demanding environments where salt water or air pollution may occur. The screw has a large head diameter which provides a very high clamping force during assembly. The head also has a very low construction height which can be an advantage for assembly. The screw is equipped with 1 fiber cut in the tip, which gives the screw a low screw-in torque in the wood material and minimizes the risk of cracking. Does not require pre-drilling. On screws that are longer than 70 mm there is an extra milling thread directly after the regular wood thread, this to facilitate the assembly of longer and thicker screws. The underside of the screw head is designed to fit correctly when mounted in beams and post shoes. The screw is equipped with a TX bit holder. Essve Wood Screw WAF meets the CE requirement according to EN 14592.

Essve Wood Screw WAF A4 is intended for most mounting of fittings and post shoes as well as fastening and splicing of suspension lines. Fastens to wood, chipboard, plywood etc. indoors and outdoors. Replaces French wood screw. Recommended speed 400-1200/min.
