Description

Construction Screw-W CorrSeal (WAF) is made of hardened carbon steel with C4-classified surface treatment. The screw's large head diameter provides very high clamping force during installation and the low design of the screw head provides a low construction height, which can be an advantage in certain installations. The screw is equipped with a fiber insert in the tip that provides low screw-in torque and minimizes the risk of cracking. On the longer screws there is an extra milling thread directly after the regular wood thread, which facilitates the installation of coarser and longer dimensions of the screw. The underside of the screw head is designed so that it will fit correctly when installed in beam and post shoes, and the screw is equipped with a TX bit holder.

The screw is ideal for timber, chipboard and plywood, but also for joining solid wood such as CLT, glulam and LVL. It is suitable for a variety of construction projects, such as building frameworks for decking, attaching wooden decks to wooden facades, installing and unscrewing support lines, changing joists and building pergolas. Can be installed with or without fittings.
