Superplasma AQ Safety Helmet Orange KASK
Description
The Kask Superplasma AQ in high-visibility orange is a ventilated safety helmet designed for professional use within industry, construction, rescue services, and environments with a high risk of falls. Thanks to the smart 4-point chinstrap and a smooth size-adjustment dial that can easily be operated with one hand (fits head sizes 51–63 cm), the helmet sits securely and comfortably throughout the entire workday. The helmet is also prepared for the easy mounting of hearing protection via adapters, as well as eye and face protection. For work in dark environments, it features integrated clips for headbands along with a convenient front slot that keeps your headlamp securely in place.
Features and Benefits of Kask Superplasma AQ Hi-Viz Orange
- Maximum Ventilation: Keeps the head cool during intense work tasks.
- One-Hand Adjustment: Fast and precise customization (size 51–63 cm) for an optimal fit.
- Secure 4-Point Chinstrap: Designed to stay on during a fall but opens under extreme pressure to prevent strangulation.
- Accessory-Ready: Integrated slots for headlamps, visors, and hearing protection adapters.
- High Visibility: The bright orange color increases your visibility on the job site.
Revolutionary Rotational Protection (WG11)
Traditional helmets are usually only tested for straight impacts, but in reality, most knocks occur at an angle from the side, creating dangerous rotational forces on the brain. All Kask helmets are tested according to the Rotational Impact WG11 method (based on ECE 22.06). Kask measures this using the so-called BrIC value (Brain Injury Criterion):
- The risk of serious brain injury increases significantly when the BrIC value exceeds 0.68.
- The Kask Superplasma AQ has a BrIC value below 0.39 – meaning it offers extremely strong protection against concussions and rotational trauma.
Certifications & Standards
The helmet is dual-certified and meets the strictest requirements for both industrial work and high-altitude work/climbing.
EN 397 – Standard for Industrial Safety Helmets
Mandatory requirements met:
- Shock Absorption: Protects against falling objects (5 kg from a height of 1 meter).

- Flame Resistance: Self-extinguishing material upon contact with fire.
- Chinstrap Function: Stays closed at a pull force of 15 daN (kg) and opens at 25 daN (kg) at the latest to protect the user.
Optional additional requirements met:
- Approved for extreme cold (-30 °C).
- Protection against lateral deformation (LD).
- Protection against molten metal splash (MM).
