Description

A practical masonry box, or masonry sled as the accessory is also called, is a box for mortar, that is, a mortar box. The standard version of the masonry box is made of white-lacquered steel sheet and is intended for applying mortar in connection with the masonry of a number of different blocks. It is available in several sizes, adapted for block widths of 150–400 millimeters, and fits most of our blocks.

A common measurement for lightweight clinker blocks is 190 millimeters and if you are looking for masonry box 190, you have come to the right place. The white version of the masonry box for leca, also called lightweight clinker, is available in six different widths. All are specified in millimeters and the different items are called Masonry Box 150, Masonry Box 190, Masonry Box 250, Masonry Box 290, Masonry Box 350 and Masonry Box 400.

This variant of mortar box is adapted for string masonry of Masonry Blocks Basic, Masonry Blocks Advantage, Insulation Blocks Basic and Solid Blocks. In other words, the masonry box is not compatible with the Masonry System Exact and its Insulation Blocks Exact. There is a special mortar box developed for this block called Masonry Box Exact.

The masonry box for leca, i.e. lightweight clinker, is thus an accessory that facilitates bricklaying work as it allows you to effectively apply strings of mortar to lightweight clinker blocks. On one end of the masonry box there are two metal tabs that can be bent to set the desired amount of mortar.
