LK Frame/Hatch Slim Preseal UNI 350x350mm

Description

LK Frame/Hatch Slim Preseal UNI has a 50 mm wide flange on which the prefabricated 50 mm wide foil flange is mounted, it is tested and approved for use in wet areas, but not in areas with baths and showers. A current list of system-approved brands of waterproofing membranes and installation instructions for connecting waterproofing membranes to LK Frame/Hatch Slim Preseal UNI for each brand can be found in the installation instructions. There is no test method for connecting foil flanges to plastic mats, so there are no adapted products for this on the market. LK Frame/Hatch Slim Preseal UNI is not suitable for installation with plastic mats as a surface layer.

LK Frame/Hatch Slim Preseal UNI requires a free construction depth of only 12 mm calculated from the outside of the wet room panel to the front edge of the LK Distribution Cabinet or other installation, e.g. LK Shaft Bottom SECURE. If two wet zone hatches are to be mounted next to each other, LK recommends that there is at least 150 mm between the cabinets. When the wet zone hatch is to be mounted close to a corner, a distance of at least 100 mm to the cabinet is recommended. A table with dimensions for drilling holes can be found in the installation instructions. LK Frame/Hatch Slim Preseal UNI can be mounted against a distribution cabinet or in the building frame. Accessories for both installation methods are included. The frame against the surface layer has a fixed dimension of 17 mm that the wall material may be adapted to. LK Frame/Hatch Slim Preseal UNI is delivered with a tight exterior hatch mounted in white-lacquered sheet metal, color RAL9016. The product should be stored in a temperate and frost-free environment.
