Jointing Compound Tube 100ml Black Tec7
Description
Tec7 is a universal super strong and flexible MS Polymer that can be used as a construction adhesive, sealant or joint compound on most materials such as wood, hard surfaces, metals, and synthetic materials, both indoors and outdoors. It can in many cases replace acrylic, silicone and polyurethane sealants, butyl sealant, assembly adhesive, wood glue, putty, window putty, etc. Tec7 is very suitable for sealing against Radon and general sealing of holes, penetrations and cracks in floors, walls and ceilings, bonding of building elements, insulation boards, moldings, stucco, interiors, fittings and equipment on cars, boats and caravans, etc., as well as bonding moldings, thresholds, bathroom panels, furnishings, etc. It does not cause corrosion or etching on metal/aluminum, paint contamination on porous surfaces (marble, slate, granite, etc.), damage to the silver coating behind mirrors or melting of polystyrene. Tec7 is food-approved, according to Breeam-SE emission requirements and contains no phthalates, isocyanates or harmful solvents. It has a long shelf life (18 months) and can withstand repeated freezing and thawing in packaging without losing its properties. Tec7 has a strong adhesive strength (26.5 kg/cm²), adheres well even on wet surfaces, cures quickly, does not shrink and remains flexible (12.5%) throughout its service life. It is vibration and sound-absorbing, has good resistance to chemicals, mold and bacteria, is very weather and aging resistant, UV-stable and can be painted over with most types of paint and varnish. In the hardened state, Tec7 can be sanded and spot-welded through. Tec7 has limited adhesion to oily wood, pressure-treated wood, PP and PE plastic, bitumen and silicone, and for movement joints around doors and windows, a softer sealant such as Xealpro is recommended.
