Description

Bostik A975 Premium Paintable is an acrylic joint sealant that can be painted over with most water-based and synthetic paints that prevent cracking and discoloration of the paint. The unique paintable joint with UCA technology is tested with leading manufacturers of paint systems for buildings.

Application

Bostik A975 Premium Paintable is specially made for sealing joints in stairs, walls, ceilings, baseboards, window sills, window frames in wood and metal, brickwork and for filling cracks, screw and nail holes in walls and ceilings made of wood, mortar, plaster, brick, concrete, etc. Intended for indoor use and is practically odorless. May only be used outdoors in fine and dry weather and painted over after the joint is completely dry.

Substrate

The substrate must be solid, clean, dry and free from dust and grease. Absorbent substrates do not have to be completely dry. Porous substrates such as gypsum, lightweight concrete, limestone, etc. must be primed with a mixture of 1 part Bostik A975 Premium Paintable and 2 parts water. Always test the adhesion before using the adhesive. Not suitable for substrates made of PE, PP, PC, PMMA, PTFE, soft plastics, neoprene and bitumen. Not suitable for permanent contact with water.
