Description

Cement-based quick-hardening joint for ceramic tiles and mosaics on floors and walls. Waterproof and frost-proof. Joint width 3-12 mm. Does not discolor and retains its original color. Salt precipitation from the joint will not occur and neither will it get dirty to the same extent as a traditional joint. Area of application: Floor and wall, indoors and outdoors. Hey'di Premium Joint should be chosen for all areas exposed to water and moisture, such as wet rooms, terraces, facades, etc. The application temperature should be between +10 and +20 °C. The lowest application temperature is +6 °C, this also applies to the substrate. Not suitable for areas with high loads such as e.g. garages, heavy industry, etc.

Preparation - Substrate: The surface must be clean and free of loose particles, grease, dust and other loose particles that can reduce adhesion. Underfloor heating must be turned off well in advance of setting and grouting. Free water must not be present in the joints and any adhesive residue in the joints must be removed. Mixing: Hey’di Premium Joint is mixed with clean water (water from your own well, etc. can affect the result), 1.5-1.7 liters to 5 kg. Mix preferably with a mechanical whisk. Whisk for 2 minutes until a lump-free mass. Let the joint rest for approx. 5 minutes and then whisk again for approx. 1-2 minutes. Hey’di Premium Joint is now ready to use and open time in bucket 30-45 minutes. Consumption: 0.2-1 kg per m² depending on joint width/depth and platform shape. Storage: Store dry. Best use properties within 2 years from production date.
