Description

Hey’di 1K Foil Glue is a fast-curing, flexible and self-drying assembly adhesive for secure bonding of foil membranes with associated cuffs and accessories. It is self-drying so it hardens even between two dense layers. Add only water. The surface must be free of loose particles, dust, grease, etc. Absorbent plaster and concrete surfaces should first be pre-moistened or primed with Hey’di Primer Floor diluted with water in a ratio of 1:5.

Hey’di 1K Foil Glue should be mixed with 33-35% water. For 4 kg, 1.3-1.4 ltr of water should be added. Pour the water into the bucket, stir the powder and water together with a whisk. Mixing time approx. 2 minutes to a homogeneous lump-free mass. Apply with a roller. Apply liberally so that the fabric/foil membrane is thoroughly saturated with the adhesive. To ensure the correct application amount, it is advantageous to use a notched trowel (3 mm). The traces of the notched trowel should disappear when the foil is installed. A brush or brush can be used to glue accessories. Work from the center outwards, pressing out excess adhesive. Check from time to time during the work that full adhesive coverage is achieved by pulling the foil from the substrate and checking the coverage. The working time of the mixed mass is approx. 2.5 hours. Be sure to check that the adhesive surface has not hardened before installing the foil. Therefore, do not apply more adhesive than the surface can be installed in a maximum of 10 minutes. The application temperature should be between +10 and +20 °C. Tools should be cleaned with water.
