Description

Essve Frame screw L is made of hardened steel with a bright zinc-plated surface treatment, C1, and is equipped with a TX-holder/bit, TX25. The screw provides a simple and user-friendly assembly in one step without the need for special tools. The barbs under the screw head are pressed into the frame (5mm), which provides a strong assembly. Adjustment of the frame is easily done by screwing Frame screw L inwards or outwards. Essve Frame screw L is BASTA registered. Essve Frame Screw L with drill tip is used to achieve adjustable assembly of frames for smaller windows and interior doors in steel joists (max. 2.0 mm) with wooden joist reinforcement. The screw is intended for stepped-drilled frames 14/5. In addition to assembling frames, the screw can also be used as an adjustment screw to align joists on uneven walls, for example.

Assembly

The assembly of Essve Frame Screw L is done in one step by screwing it into the frame and underlying frame material. Assembly in steel joists (max. 2.0 mm) with wooden joist reinforcement is done directly without pre-drilling, and the assembly depth requirement is at least 45 mm into the frame material. For a neat finish, cover the hole with a cover cap in a suitable color.
