Description

The screw is made of stainless acid-resistant steel A4, C5 for very exposed environments. The screw is equipped with a TX-holder/bit. Essve facade screw works excellently in, for example, facades of heat-treated or other exclusive wood species, facades with corrosive surface treatment such as iron vitriol and facades on the coast. Stainless screws are always preferable in facades when weather and wind generate movements where unhardened screws are the best choice. Facade screw 4.4x60 is a thinner screw intended for smaller applications, such as storage rooms etc. The screw is equipped with a fiber insert at the tip to reduce cracking and reduce the screw-in torque. The small cylindrical head with a grip thread underneath provides a good countersink and a good grip in the facade board. The choice of screw length should be adapted so that the screw does not penetrate the windproof layer.

NOTE! The screw has a small head that is countersunk in the wood and makes the installation very discreet, however, you need to paint over the screw to seal the entrance hole in the wood. By painting over, the risk of absorbing moisture, discoloring and/or eventually exposing the facade to rot is reduced. Essve facade screws are also available with a countersunk head. Essve facade screws meet the CE requirement according to SS-EN 14592. Essve facade screws are registered in the BASTA system and meet the BASTA rating level, see BASTAonline.se for current registration status. Essve facade screws with cylindrical heads are intended for mounting wooden facades and panels to wooden substrates, mainly outdoors. Recommended speed: 400-1200/min.
