Description

Fast Deck Tool - for concealed screw installation of decking. Using the Deck Tool, the screw is mounted in the side of the decking board and provides a concealed installation. The Fast Deck Tool's low profile and center of gravity provide stability during installation. The Deck Tool is intended for 28-34mm decking and is infinitely adjustable for decking board widths between 95-150mm. The Deck Tool is equipped with two different spacers, which provides an optional distance of either 2 or 3mm. The Deck Tool is used together with a special screw and is installed with a custom bit that is included with each package of screws.

Assembly

  • Set the Deck Tool for your current deck width (Deck Tool is set for 120mm decking when delivered)
  • Place the Deck Tool on the decking board, centered over the joist, by squeezing the spring-loaded handles together.
  • Insert the special screws into the straight screw holes provided with the sleeves.
  • Use the bit that comes with the special screws. Screw until the bit has bottomed out in the screw hole. Always start with the outermost screw. For best results - put
  • firm pressure on the screw during assembly, especially when the counter thread reaches the decking board.
  • The assembly is complete and the Deck Tool can be moved for further assembly.
