Description

Essve Wood Screw WAF A4 is intended for most installations of fittings and post shoes as well as attaching and splicing of support lines. Fastens to wood, chipboard, plywood etc. indoors and outdoors. Replaces French wood screw. Wood screw WAF is made of acid-resistant steel, C5-classified for demanding environments where salt water or air pollution may occur. The screw has a large head diameter which provides a very high clamping force during installation. The head also has a very low construction height which can be an advantage for installation. The screw is equipped with 1 fiber insert at the tip, which gives the screw a low screw-in torque in the wood material and minimizes the risk of cracking. Does not require pre-drilling. On screws longer than 70 mm there is an extra milling thread directly after the regular wood thread, this to facilitate the installation of longer and thicker screws. The underside of the screw head is designed so that it fits correctly when installed in beams and post shoes. The screw is equipped with a TX bit holder. Essve Wood Screw WAF meets the CE requirement according to EN 14592. Recommended speed: 400-1200/min.
