Description

Bird tape is used under the first roof tile at the eaves to prevent birds from building nests under the roof tiles. The bird tape is attached to the eaves batten with cardboard nails or short screws so that the angled rods are directed towards the ridge. The bird tape stops birds from building nests in the eaves, which prevents air circulation between the roof tiles and the underlying roof. Bird nests increase the risk of the batten rotting and the underlying roof being damaged. The bird tape is available in brick red and black and is made of polyethylene and can be used for all roof tile models. In winter, the bird tape should be stored at room temperature before installation.
