Auson Wood Tar Black Brown 2.7 Liter
Description
Auson Black Brown is a genuine wood tar with both black and brown pigments. Black Brown Wood Tar gives a softer impression than Auson Black Tar. The protection against rot and drying out is the same as for all tar paints. This softer black color is suitable for modern wooden houses, but also for fences, boathouses and wooden roofs. Use black brown tar on untreated wood or wood that has previously been painted with tar, mud paint or iron vitriol. If you are painting on planed wood, you need to dilute it with 10-20% turpentine or alcohol. On unplaned wood you can start right away.
Stir the can thoroughly before painting, as the pigment easily settles to the bottom during storage. Also stir regularly while painting. Otherwise, the pigment will settle to the bottom, which will give an uneven color to the facade.
Black-brown Tar is a classic pigmented wood tar based on wood tar, turpentine and linseed oil that gives the surface a matte black-brown color. Black-brown tar provides a water-repellent surface and protection against the sun's UV radiation. Contains 100% active ingredients. Wood tar is nature's own wood protection and consists of, among other things, various types of resins and terpenes. Resin (resin) is the tree's natural way of protecting itself against microorganisms and healing injuries. Terpenes are a solvent and accelerate drying. Wood tar is made in an oven from resin-rich pine trees.
Area of use
Black Brown Tar can be used on wood that has previously been treated with sludge paint and iron vitriol as well as on untreated or previously tarred wood such as wood panels, facade timber, fences, wooden roofs, pallet collars and other wooden structures outdoors.
Application
Best results are achieved if painting with Black Brown Tar is carried out in warm weather, at least 10 °C. The product is then easier to work with and penetrates the surface better. For planed wood such as timber facades and for harder woods, Black Brown Tar should be mixed with an additional 10-20% turpentine or alcohol. As the pigment sinks to the bottom during storage, it is important to stir the can thoroughly before painting. Also stir from time to time during painting. Keep in mind that wood tar is a natural product that can vary slightly in color from different productions (batches). If you have several cans from different productions (see white label on the lid), you should mix them together to avoid color differences.
Brush off dust, dirt and loose paint. Wash off algae and mold growth. The surface must be dry when painting. Paint directly without primer, even end wood. Use a brush. Can also be sprayed. Then dilute with 10-20% turpentine or alcohol depending on the spray equipment used. Can be painted over after about 1-2 days. Paint 1-2 times depending on new or previously painted surface or type of substrate.
