Trans Inox is a silver-gray metallic universal super strong and flexible MS Polymer that can be used as a construction adhesive, sealant or joint compound both indoors and outdoors on most materials such as ceramic tiles, glass, enamel, concrete, metals, wood, stone, natural stone, brick, synthetic materials. It can in many cases replace acrylic, silicone and polyurethane sealants, butyl sealant, assembly adhesive, wood glue, window putty, etc. without causing corrosion or etching on metal/aluminum, paint contamination on porous surfaces (marble, slate, granite, etc.), damage to the silver coating on mirrors or melting of polystyrene. It is very suitable for gluing and jointing bathrooms, toilets, kitchens, windows, floors, ceilings, verandas, etc. Trans Inox is food-approved, according to Breeam-SE emission requirements and contains no phthalates, isocyanates or harmful solvents. It can withstand repeated freezing and thawing in packaging without losing its properties. Trans Inox bonds strongly (22 kg/cm²), adheres well even to wet surfaces, cures quickly, does not shrink and remains flexible (20%) throughout its service life. It is vibration and sound-absorbing, has good resistance to chemicals, mold and bacteria, is very weather and aging resistant, UV-stable, can be painted over with most types of paint and varnish. Trans Inox has limited adhesion to oily wood, pressure-impregnated wood, PP and PE plastic, bitumen and silicone, and for movement joints around doors and windows, a softer sealant such as Xealpro is recommended. For more demanding gluing/construction, Tec7 or X-Tack is recommended. On outdoor glass that can get hot, Tec7 is recommended, or Xealpro Transparent if a transparent seal is required.
